Days between two dates. The calculator counts calendar days from the start date to the end date. It also shows the same period as years, months and days, as whole weeks plus days, and as a number of weekdays (Monday to Friday). If the end date is before the start date, the result is counted backwards and a note tells you so.
Add or subtract. Days and weeks move the date by exactly that many days. Months and years move the calendar month or year and keep the same day of the month, falling back to the last day of the month when that day does not exist.
Dates are treated as calendar days, not times, so time zones and daylight-saving changes never add or lose a day. Leap years are taken into account.

Common uses
- Deadlines and notice periods. Add 30 or 90 days to a start date to find when a period ends.
- Countdowns. Days until a holiday, a wedding or an exam.
- Working days. Estimate how many working days a project or a leave request covers; remember to subtract any public holidays yourself.
- Age of anything. For a person’s exact age in years, months and days, the age calculator also shows the next birthday.
